Review: Sacrifice Me – Season Two – Part One by Sarra Cannon

Sacrifice Me, Season Two: Part 1 (Sacrifice Me Seasons, #2)Sacrifice Me, Season Two: Part 1 by Sarra Cannon

My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Before I start, I need to ask you if you have read Season One of Sacrifice Me? If not, go here http://amzn.eu/gF3i7nI and read book one, then continue with the series because you are definitely going to want to have read them before starting on this one (I would say it was possible to start with this book but reading Part One makes it all seem more real).

Anyway, back to the book.

Sacrifice Me Season Two sees the return of Franki and Rend (my two favourite characters across ALL of Sarra Cannon’s books) – Yay! – plus a plethora of other much-loved characters too. Some of these characters are just from Sacrifice Me, BUT – and this is where it gets exciting – they CROSS-OVER with the Shadow Demons Saga – yes, you heard me correct… Harper and the gang are either frequently referenced or actually APPEAR IN Sacrifice Me. (And on that note, if you haven’t read the Shadow Demons books, check them out with the first one here Beautiful Demons.

I will warn you, Season Two Part One ends on the MOTHER-OF-ALL-CLIFFHANGERS but do not despair, part two is in the works.

Despite the cliffhanger (because we all LOVE and HATE cliffhangers), I loved this first part of Sacrifice Me, I felt what the characters were feeling. Sarra manages to develop the characters in a way that makes me (and possibly some of you too) want to be with them like I want to be a character in one of Sarra’s worlds (probably Sacrifice Me if I had to choose – I think I may have developed a “thing” for Connery). I want to work at Venom, I want magical powers, or to be a demon or some other kind of supernatural being – I’m not too fussy, anything will do.

In summary, Read this book. And all of Sarra’s other books – she has never let me down yet with a story I can really get behind/into/onto/through etc etc.

ARC received with thanks.
