Review: Water Memory

Water MemoryWater Memory by Mathieu Reynès

My rating: 3 of 5 stars

Following the death of her grandmother, Marion’s mother Caroline makes the decision for them to move back to the village she lived in as a small child. Marion settles well into the new home and embarks on a journey investigating strange history.

This book had pleasant images and is laid out like a normal comic book. I felt that they managed to convey the relationship between all the characters well, but I would have liked to have seen a bit more interaction between the mother and daughter. Other than that, a fairly enjoyable story with the potential to be much more in a future issue.

Thanks to Netgalley for the Advance Reading Copy
